Notice is hereby given that an
annual District Meeting of Regional School District #16
will be held on Monday, May 7, 2007,
at Long River Middle School,
at 7:00 p.m. in the Gymnasium.

REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT #16
Towns of Beacon Falls & Prospect
All electors and citizens, who are qualified to vote at
town meetings of the Town
of Beacon Falls and the Town of Prospect, are hereby notified and warned that
the
Annual District Meeting of Regional School District No. 16 will be held on
Monday,
May 7, 2007, at Long River Middle School in the Town of Prospect at 7:00 p.m.
The
vote on the motion to adopt the 2007-2008 proposed budget of $ 34,805,114.00
shall
be a "yes" or "no" vote by referendum vote on the voting
machines in each town on
Tuesday, May 8, 2007, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Copies of the budget will be
filed
with the Town Clerks of both towns within five days of said meeting.

The 2007-2008 Regions 16 School Budget represents an increase
of $1,799,972 over the 2006-2007 budget, which represents a 5.45% increase.
