SPECIAL NOTICE: Due to DEP Regulations, the town can no longer burn Christmas trees.
You may bring your Christmas tree to the Prospect Recycling Center during the
regularly scheduled hours of operation, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Town of Prospect 2008 Recycling Schedule

This is the Recycling schedule for the Town of Prospect for 2008. The list is divided into FOUR sections. Find your street in the appropriate section and you will see your pick-up dates in the column to the right. The recycling is picked-up every two weeks for the entire year. Replacement bins can be picked up in the Mayor's Office in the event yours are damaged or lost. Please place your recyclables out the night before your scheduled pickup.

Please recycle magazines as well as orange juice cartons, milk cartons, and juice box containers, plastic bottles #1 and #2, along with the glass and cans. The magazines and newspapers must be put in brown paper bags. Cardboard may also be put at curbside. The cardboard must be cut into a 2x3 square and tied. It is no longer necessary to separate glass and cans. If you have any questions regarding these new requirements, please feel free to call Town Hall (758-4461).
